Creative Directors

  • John is a multi-disciplined Creative Director with over 27 years of experience across retail, public sector, and automotive industries.

    Trained in Interior Design, with a BA Honours from Middlesex University and a strong foundation in interior architecture developed in Germany, John’s career spans strategic design, brand development, photography, fashion, and graphic design within the built environment.

    Over the past 12 years, he’s worked at senior levels—leading design teams, managing projects, and delivering creative solutions for a diverse range of clients. His work includes refurbishing listed buildings, designing public libraries, and creating innovative retail spaces.

    John’s client list is broad and impressive, including Kiss FM, MOBO Awards, Universal Music Group, adidas, Reebok, and lululemon. In the public sector, he has delivered projects for local authorities such as Westminster, Croydon, Redbridge, and Tower Hamlets, as well as international clients like the Abu Dhabi Department of Tourism and Culture.

    He brings depth, versatility, and proven leadership to every project.

  • Clare won the BSME Award for Art Director of the Year at Stylist magazine, and previously held the position of Design Director at Marie Claire US in New York. Other editorial titles she has worked on include: Vogue, Sunday Times Style, Cosmopolitan and Tatler. A seasoned expert in print design, Clare is now making an impact in the advertising, marketing, branding and the digital world. She has transferred her creative thinking, concept design and general good taste on screen for We Are Social, Facebook, Adidas, Amazon, Coach, Tapestry and numerous luxury brands.

  • Christine is an award-winning designer with over 20 years of experience. Her background in illustration, her love for craft, and her role as Creative Director at Marie Claire UK give her a distinct style. She has created hand-embroidered magazine covers, crafted over 100 tiny paper dolls for fashion shoots, and decorated Heal’s windows with rainbow confetti. Christine approaches projects holistically, transforming ideas into comprehensive visual experiences. Her past clients include John Lewis, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Tatler, and Boots. Recently, she has applied her skills in the charity sector, working with #Togetherband on campaigns to promote the UN's Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

Key Artists/Retouchers

  • Graham is an award-winning creative retoucher and designer specialising in the concepting and creation of key art. With more than 15 years experience in the field, he has created artwork for BBC, Warner Bros. Discovery, UKTV and Tribeca Film. Graham’s approach is eclectic, drawing on his background in the time-honoured traditions of oil painting and fine art photography as well as a keen interest in developing technologies such as AI image generation.

  • Jo is an experienced creative retoucher with a love for impactful imagery. Having spent many years working across advertising, broadcast, fashion, retail and sports sectors she is capable of working on a variety of different subjects.

    Jo’s skills include key art design, colour matching / grading, skin retouching and creative image manipulation. Having also acted as Project Manager on high volume projects she values excellent organisation, clear communication and endeavours to nurture an atmosphere of ease within a creative team

    Adaptable to different workflows, Jo focuses on what would be the most helpful to the client and and impactful to the project at any given point, whether that be big or small.

    A passionate creative person, Jo is also a fine artist specialising in watercolour and ink, a portrait photographer and a budding martial artist. Her varied interests include Japanese culture, gardening, music, travel and she can often be found attending live music events or browsing art galleries.

  • With 15 years experience as a creative retoucher, Steve has honed his craft working for many of London's leading advertising agencies and retouching studios. His expertise covers automotive, key art, fashion and beauty, CGI retouching and colour grading.

    A true creative retoucher with an art and design background and a great understanding of colour, lighting and composition. Steve approaches the process with clear communication and meticulous attention to detail. He produces subtly perfected and natural looking results, whilst always meeting demanding deadlines and without compromising quality.

    Steve enjoys creative pursuits such as painting and photography and is an avid music and film lover. He has a strong interest in graphic design, art and illustration and enjoys regularly attending exhibitions and galleries.

Designers

  • Nele is a London-based graphic designer who graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from Ravensbourne University in 2014. She went on to work for Discovery and then The Telegraph before she transitioned into a highly successful freelance career.

Over the years Nele has cultivated a versatile skill set and the ability to seamlessly adapt to various client needs and team dynamics. Specialising in branding, information graphics, print, digital, and illustration, she has worked on a wide variety of projects for reputable clients such as Ustwo games, Data Design, Discovery, and Designit.

    Nele's deep passion for fine arts serves as a constant source of inspiration, propelling her to look for new ways of approaching her work. She maintains an unwavering commitment to innovation, continually seeking fresh perspectives and creative avenues in her design endeavours.

  • Zahra is an experienced designer with print and digital experience in both editorial and commercial settings. She has worked across a range of fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, her clients include Harrods, Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Red, Women’s Health, Esquire, Treatwell, Superdrug and The Perfume Shop.

    She is a hard working, enthusiastic and creative individual who is confident in using editing soft­ware programs such as Photoshop, lndesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Illustra­tor.

  • An award-winning art director with a flair for typography and graphic design. Vic has a reputation for consistently delivering innovative ideas for a range of national and international brands. 

    Reliable, professional, and resilient in the face of pressure, her expertise in editorial and infographic design is matched only by her efficiency and proficiency to hit deadlines.

  • Amy is a designer with experience building brands in-house. After graduating from the University of Dundee Amy moved to London to work at Formula E, immediately being thrown into the middle of a new brand roll out. Working on projects for events, marketing, hospitality, etc. allowed her to see all parts of the business and get involved in large projects from the beginning.

    She then moved to her position as lead designer at Extreme E, a new electric off-road racing series, overseeing all areas of brand and design for this exciting new championship. Working with a small internal team and working closely with partners they delivered an award winning product for the first two seasons in remote locations across the globe.

  • Kirsty is an experienced multidisciplinary designer with over 20 years’ experience. Having honed her skills in editorial design for some of the UK’s biggest magazines, she now works for various digital clients, including ITV and The Trainline.

    With her great storytelling skills, Kirsty can create a full 360 experience – whether that’s for a print publication, short edits for social media or storyboarding a full campaign. She loves nothing more than creating exciting and vibrant motion design for social that surprise audiences and capture their attention.

  • Rachael is a graphic designer who has experience on numerous rebranding projects, guideline designs, signage design projects, marketing material development, exhibitions and print work.

    She studied Graphics at Central Saint Martins, part of the University Arts London, and works at an architectural design company in London, and also on a variety of freelance projects.

    Clients include Honda Motors, European Region of Gastronomy, Croydon Council, Toyota, Tropicalia, The Royal College of Nursing, The City of London, Ordnance Survey, Idea Stores, Mazda Motors, Blackpool City Council.

  • Asif is a graphic designer with over 20 years professional experience working across a variation of design disciplines at a world class level. Starting his early career working for Allied Domecq he became brand guardian for Courvoisier and developed a passion for product design. He then went on to work in advertising as a team manager where he worked on famous brand projects and specialised in high end retouching. After the advertising agency work he went freelance, personally pitching and winning work where he became Dynamo the magicians senior designer and brand guardian, rebranding and creating the event design for Red Bull global basketball and then working in film and TV.

  • Designer / Illustrator

    Lydia is a full-time graphic designer, illustrator and writer with a history of designing for entrepreneurial start-ups. She was former Head of Design at ToucanBOX, a children’s craft-box subscription. Lydia studied Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University and was headhunted to join the creative team at notonthehighstreet.com.

    Lydia’s illustration style is playful, colourful, fun and deliberately naïve, with quirky, humorous ideas and characters that dance across the page. Her work is full of energy and plays to that childlike innocence that is in all of us, regardless of age

    The Ant’s Pants is her first children’s illustrated book – published by Orion, under the Early Readers series, summer 2018.

    Lydia brings an inimitable sense of style to everything she does: from makeup artistry and face painting to fashion and hair modelling.

  • Hanna is an experienced multidisciplinary designer with expertise in print, digital, and motion design. She has worked across a diverse range of industries, including media, entertainment, engineering, fashion, and children’s content. Her clients include WSP, Discovery, BBC, Moonbug, and Seraphine, along with many more.

    She is a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented designer who thrives in fast-paced environments. Skilled in industry-standard software, she works confidently across the whole Adobe suite to bring brands and campaigns to life.

  • With over 15 years of experience and a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, Chanah is a highly skilled designer who knows how to turn ideas into eye-catching visuals. She’s worked with some big names like Caffè Nero, Pret A Manger, HP, McArthurGlen, Sushi Daily, and the BBC, building a portfolio that spans everything from agency gigs to in-house roles.

    Chanah’s all about thoughtful, purpose-driven design - whether it’s a campaign, product packaging, a brochure, event branding, or art-directing a photoshoot. She’s got a great eye for detail and always aims to deliver work that not only looks great but also makes sense strategically. No matter the brief, she’s ready to jump in and create something that really works.

  • Jess is a multi-disciplinary production designer with 20 years of experience working across photography, retail, and events. Originally training in theatre and costume design, her career led her into the retail space, where she has collaborated on projects for iconic and luxury brands including Harrods, Liberty, and Louis Vuitton. 

    In more recent years, Jess has also followed her love of storytelling through design into live events, a field where she draws on her knowledge in spatial design and styling, blending myriad visual elements to create engaging and immersive live experiences, designing everything from press showcases to Pride floats, and even a flying dragon, in the name of good PR.

Motion Designers

  • Stefan’s range of skills as an enthusiastic lead creative and senior motion graphics designer can help you create impactful visual content that cuts through on any platform.

    A proud Ravensbourne alum, with over 11 years of creative agency experience. He has hadthe privilege of working with global brands of all kinds, including the BBC, ITV, Fremantle, Ancestry and The Financial Times amongst others. Equipped with a Swiss army knife of creative solutions, he specialises in 2D & 3D motion graphics, animation, social content and branding. He has a strong knowledge and years of experience using Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Cinema 4d.

    Stefan creates content that can be used in limitless ways from TV, DOOH, online to social campaigns. Whatever the opportunity to reach your audience or customer he can create something that will grab their attention and make them look twice.

  • Fedele is a highly talented, award winning motion graphic designer with over 20 years of experience as a senior creative at BBC News. He has a background in branding and photography, and understands the importance and impact of bringing an idea to life through design.

    Working across all aspects of channel branding, broadcast, social media and continuity from initial design to final delivery.

    Clients include BBC, Sky, UBS, Amazon, and Smirnoff.

  • Tom is an animation director, lead animator and illustrator working across 2D and 3D. He loves to find imaginative simple solutions to complex ideas using clean clear design and smooth enjoyable motion with a playful tone.Tom has worked with brands such as Discovery, F1, Nike and Playstation to name a few.

  • Here at the Creative Collective we are proud to introduce Dee Cee. He is an extremely talented and motivated motion graphic designer with 20 years experience in UK and International broadcast design. Working across all aspects of channel branding, broadcast, social and continuity from initial design to final delivery. Clients include MTV and Nickelodeon through to Discovery, Animal Planet and UKTV. Dee Cee is dedicated, diligent and a gem to work with. 

  • Mark is a multidisciplinary creative focussed in motion graphics, video editing and storytelling. He has a wealth of experience in the advertising and entertainment sectors, including working with big brands Disney, MTV and Nickelodeon. Mark's speciality is to approach every project with imagination, playfulness and creativity.

  • Caitlin is a dog loving, London-based Motion Graphics Designer and Illustrator who graduated from Ravensbourne University in 2019. She has 5+ years experience working across multiple sectors, in creative studios and agencies as well as freelance. 

    Working with brands such as Pampers, Ariel, Aussie, Ancestry, the Financial Times, Freeview, BBC Studios and more have allowed her to explore a wide variety of media distribution techniques and deliverables from broadcast and TVC adverts, to social media videos and advertising, static designs and on set shoots. 

    Caitlin has always had a huge passion for Media & Design and ever since growing up in the Isle of Man, she’s always loved creating visually exciting graphics. Caitlin’s a designer, Illustrator and animator by trade (mainly 2D), however she’s worn many hats during her career and loves embracing a challenge and exploring new avenues.

  • James is a Senior Multidisciplinary Creative Designer who joins us from Moonbug Entertainment and WildBrain, bringing over 13 years of experience across production and marketing. He’s created everything from premium static designs, logos, key art and deck presentations, to motion animatics, wireframes, brand guidelines and full 360° campaigns (ATL/BTL/TTL). He is highly skilled across Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and AI-supported branding tools like Firefly.

    But what really sets James apart is the why behind his work. He designs because it’s how he’s wired, it’s how he makes sense of the world. He’s driven by how design makes people feel, not just how it looks. He’s brilliant at bringing clarity to chaos and shaping brands that feel consistent, confident and human.

    For James, great design is a clear, memorable message, bold in its simplicity and smart in its execution. And we absolutely love that!
